Tenancy Agreements
A tenancy agreement is a contract, either written or verbal, between you and your tenants. Although it is not always compulsory, it is advisory as its purpose is it is legally binding if you have any disputes with your tenants as well as a good means of laying down some ground rules.
A written tenancy agreement should outline the type of agreement that the tenants has with you as well as your full name and address. In addition, other information that should be present includes the start date and duration of the tenancy, the cost of the rent and when and how it is to be paid and the length of time that either party has to give as a minimum should the tenancy be terminated.
